What Is Auto-Rebate? How Automatic Forex Cashback Works, Broker by Broker
What auto-rebate means
Auto-rebate is a system where the broker's own system automatically calculates your cashback amount from your trading data and pays it directly into your account or wallet. Because the entire calculation and payout happens inside the broker's own system, the person running a cashback site has no technical way to reduce or manipulate the amount.
What manual rebate means
Manual rebate is a system where the site operator first receives the referral commission a broker pays to its partners (IBs), then calculates and pays traders independently. Because the calculation and payout timing are left to the operator's discretion, it tends to be harder to verify from the outside exactly how much you'll actually receive, or whether it's really being paid as promised.
The two methods compared
| Aspect | Auto-rebate | Manual rebate |
|---|---|---|
| Who calculates it | The broker's own system | The site operator |
| Can the amount be manipulated? | Not possible on the operator's side | Depends on operator discretion |
| Where it's paid | Directly into your trading account / wallet | Transferred by the operator |
| Withdrawal request needed? | Generally no — it lands automatically | Usually yes |
* The description of manual rebates above is a general explanation of the model, not a reference to any specific site.
We use auto-rebate
We use auto-rebate across Exness, HFM, XS.com, and Axi. The broker's own system calculates cashback for every trade automatically and pays it directly into your trading account, MyWallet, cashback wallet, and so on. You can also see a breakdown of every trade from your dashboard.

Here's whether each broker auto-rebates, where it lands, when it lands, what's excluded, and what to do if you already have an account.
Exness auto-rebate
- Auto-rebate?:
- Yes — Exness's own system calculates it automatically on every trade.
- Where it lands:
- Directly into the account you traded on.
- Timing:
- By the next day after the trade, processed every day including weekends (roughly 12:00–15:00 JST).
- Excluded trades:
- Trades closed before the day you registered your account with us (UTC) don't count.
- If you already have an account:
- We'd recommend registering a new account via our link under a different email address (active as soon as verification completes). If you want to keep your current account, you can request a partner change (takes up to 3 days) and open an additional account.
HFM auto-rebate
- Auto-rebate?:
- Yes — it's transferred into your trading account automatically.

- Directly into the account you traded on.
- Timing:
- Roughly 2–3am server time once you reach $1 (around 8–9am JST).

Which is safer, auto-rebate or manual rebate?
With auto-rebate, the broker's own system calculates and pays out automatically, leaving no room for the operator to manipulate the amount. With manual rebate, the operator calculates and pays independently, so the transparency of the rate and the payout depends entirely on how the operator runs things. We use auto-rebate for Exness, HFM, XS.com, and Axi.
Which method does this site use?
We use auto-rebate across Exness, HFM, XS.com, and Axi. The broker's own system calculates the cashback amount directly and pays it automatically into your trading account, MyWallet, cashback wallet, and so on.
What's the actual difference between auto-rebate and manual rebate?
Auto-rebate is calculated and paid automatically by the broker's own system on every trade. Manual rebate is calculated and paid independently by the operator based on the referral commission they receive, so who calculates it, whether the amount can be manipulated, and how fast it lands all differ. See the comparison table above for details.
If cashback isn't landing, what order should I check things in?
First check whether your dashboard shows the trade as unconfirmed or confirmed — unconfirmed trades haven't landed yet. Next check whether the trade happened before the day you registered your account (for Exness, that's UTC-based). Finally, check whether it falls under that broker's exclusions listed above. If it's still not resolved, contact support.
